PLCs

Cannon Falls Schools has been implementing PLCs for the past two years.Our schedule for the 2013-14 school year allows for 12 late startmornings so that our teachers can sit down in their PLC group and dothree main things:
                                            1) Ensure that students are learning.
                                            2) Create a culture of collaboration.
                                            3) Focus on student results.
Currentlywe are in the process of training faciliators from each PLC to teachand lead their peers through successful and meaningful PLC meetings.This is a two-year process. We are excited to announce that we will have9 early outs for the 2014-15 school year to continue this valuableteaching and learning concept.
